The Keystones (1962-1974)
(AKA The Keystone Quartet)

History

The Keystone Quartet was a regional group organized by Danny Sinacori in 1962. The group was based in Pennsylvania. Future Oak Ridge Boys members Richard Sterban and Joe Bonsall, producer and future Kingsmen Quartet pianist Nick Bruno, and future Imperials baritone David Will are some of the recognizable names who passed through this group. Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys produced many of the Keystone Quartet's albums.

The group continued to be billed as The Keystone Quartet through 1969. In 1970 for their album titled Shine!, the name was modified to The Keystones.
