Richard Sterban (April 29, 1943 - )

Biography

Richard Sterban sang bass for the Keystone Quartet in the 1960s. He also performed with the Eastmen Quartet for a while before reforming the Keystones. He joined JD Sumner And The Stamps Quartet in 1970 and was still part of the group when they were tapped to begin traveling with Elvis Presley. In 1973, Sterban left the Stamps to join the Oak Ridge Boys where he sang bass for more than 50 years.

In 2012, Sterban released an autobiography titled From Elvis To Elvira.
