Andrew Walker Ishee (December 29, 1978 - )
Andrew Ishee is a Southern Gospel pianist. He was born on December 19, 1978 in Laurel, Mississippi.He began playing the piano at age 8. At age 15, he worked as a Southern Gospel disc jockey in his hometown.
Ishee began his professional career at age 16 when he joined the Dixie Echoes as pianist. He left the group after about a year to join Masterpeace, a group formed in his hometown of Laurel. The following year he joined the Kingsmen Quartet and remained with them until September, 2002. He then accepted the pianist position for the Palmetto State Quartet, where he remained until 2006. He is now the music director for Life Church in Laurel, Mississippi. He also performed with the Steeles.
Andrew is married to the former Sheree Buckner, daughter of Gary Buckner, bus driver and occasional bass singer for Legacy Five. They have one child.
