Gene McDonald
Biography
Missouri native Gene McDonald started his singing career singing for his family group, the McDonald Family, from 1968 through 1980. He also sang with the Plainsmen and with Jack Campbell and the Ambassadors before joining the Florida Boys in 1998.
In 2003, McDonald was voted "Favorite Bass of the Year" in the Singing News Fan Awards. McDonald left the Florida Boys in 2007 and is currently a soloist.
