Robert Benson (1930-1987)

Biography

Robert Benson was the son of John T Benson Jr and grandson of John T Benson Sr. He and his brother John III succeeded their father as head of the Benson company. Robert and his father co-founded three record labels: Benson Records. Impact Records, and Heartwarming Records.
