Tommy Atwood (January 21, 1938 - )

Biography

Tommy Atwood was born in Whynot, Mississippi in 1938, the son of William A. and Bettie B. Atwood. He sang tenor for the Florida Boys from 1966-1971. He also sang with the Bibletones. He was also a songwriter who enjoyed designing guitars. During Atwood's tenure with the Florida Boys, they took on more of a country sound with Atwood regularly featured playing fiddle with Glen Allred on guitar.
