Steve Lee (January 30, 1951 - December 4, 2017)
Biography
Steve Lee is a baritone singer who began his career in the 1970s with a group called the Young Deacons. In 1979, Lee was hired to sing baritone with the Cathedral Quartet. He also played piano for a few weeks until a young Roger Bennett was hired by the group. He then became the group's bass guitar player in addition to singing baritone.
Lee left the Cathedrals in 1980 and was replaced by Mark Trammell. Steve later performed with the group Mended Wings.
He is the younger brother of Richard Lee who sang with JD Sumner And The Stamps Quartet in the late 1970s.
