Randy Byrd

Biography

Randy Byrd sang bass for the Blackwood Gospel Quartet from 2003 until 2004. That quartet joined Jimmy Blackwood to form the new Blackwood Brothers in 2004. He left the Blackwood Brothers in 2012 and briefly sang with the Anchormen before joining the LeFevre Quartet where he stayed until 2013. After that, he was with the Songfellows Quartet long enough to record one CD before joining the Mark Trammell Quartet in 2014. Randy Byrd left Mark Trammell Quartet in 2022 due to health issues that prevented him from traveling.
