Joseph Habedank

Biography

Joseph Habedank from Xenia, Ohio served as baritone and then lead singer for the Perrys from 2003-2013. During this time, he established himself as a songwriter, often co-writing songs with Matthew Holt and Rodney Griffin. He also formed a publishing company with Holt called Habeholt Music.

In 2013, Habedank stepped down from the Perrys. No specific reasons for his departure were given at the time, but he revealed he had to leave the Perrys to enter a rehab facility to fight an addiction to prescription painkillers.

After Habedank's recovery, he launched a successful solo career, releasing Welcome Home on the Daywind Records label in 2014. In November 2019, his song "Shame On Me" reached the number one spot on the Singing News Top 80 radio airplay chart.
