Harold Gilley (January 8, 1942 - July 2, 2013)
Biography
Harold Gilley is a Southern Gospel songwriter. His compositions have been recorded by such artists as the Happy Goodmans, the Chuck Wagon Gang, and Greater Vision. He was also the bass singer for the Statesmen in 1994, then with Palmetto State Quartet from 1994-1997. Harold also sang with the Landmark Quartet, Songfellows Quartet, Blackwood Quartet, and Mercy’s Way with Danny Funderburk. He also had his own group called Southern Gold.
