Dustin Sweatman (June 16, 1983 - August 29, 2021)
Biography
Prior to joining the Dixie Melody Boys to sing baritone in 2003, Dustin Sweatman had performed with his family as well as regional groups PureHarmony and EasternBound. After performing with the Dixie Melody Boys, he sang lead for the Mark Trammell Trio/Quartet from 2006-2012. He also taught at the Steve Hurst School Of Music and was director of the Renaissance Choir at Bethel University.
In addition to singing, Sweatman was a songwriter. His songs were recorded by the Mark Trammell Quartet, the Kingsmen Quartet, Triumphant Quartet and others.
