Denver Dale Crumpler (August 17, 1912 - March 21, 1957)

Biography

Denver Crumpler was the tenor singer for the Statesmen during some of their most successful years, 1953-1957. His style influenced many of the great Southern Gospel tenors of the next generation. He began his career in 1938 with the Stamps Melody Boys. He then sang with the Rangers Quartet before joining the Statesmen.
