Bob Johnson (November 10, 1931 - October 12, 2014)

Biography

Bob Johnson and Jeanne began singing together before their marriage in 1959. They met while Jeanne was performing with the Gethsemane Quartet in Greensboro, North Carolina, and were married on December 20th of that year.

In the summer of 1967, Bob and Jeanne received a call from the renowned Speer Family and officially joined the group in 1968. Bob took on the role of driving the tour bus and was occasionally featured as a vocalist. In later years, the couple was prominently featured on the Gaither Homecoming Series and other Southern Gospel reunion events.
