The Young Deacons (1966-1967, 1969-????)

History

The Young Deacons Quartet began in 1966 and where based in Burlington, North Carolina. They disbanded in 1967 while Randy Payne, Bass singer was called to serve in the military. They started back in the spring of 1969.
