Marijohn Melson Wilkin (July 14, 1920 - October 28, 2006)

Biography

Marijohn Wilkin is best known for her work in Country music both as a songwriter in her own right as well as a publisher who developed up and coming songwriters including Kris Kristofferson and Ed Bruce. She also wrote and recorded gospel music.

The classic "One Day At A Time" was co-written by Wilkin and Kristofferson.
