Anthony Elden Greene (October 17, 1968-September 28, 2010)

Biography

Tony Greene was a singer, concert promoter, humorist and a part-time funeral home employee. In 1979 as a child, he began singing with his older siblings, Kim and Tim, accompanied by their father as the Greenes. Several years later, after their father Everette came off the road, they came to national prominence as a sibling trio. After sister Kim left in 1989 to join the Hoppers, Amy Lambert and Milena Parks both spent several years at the soprano spot. Tony's future wife, TaRanda, joined the group in 1998, and they married about two years later. Greene died on September 28, 2010 at the age of 41.
