Biography

Terry Blackwood began singing in the 1960s with the Stamps Quartet. He joined the Imperials in 1967, singing both lead and baritone until 1976. After a few months during which he recorded a duet album with his sister Kay, Blackwood partnered with fellow Imperials alumnus Sherman Andrus to form the contemporary Christian group Andrus, Blackwood, and Company in mid-1977. He also performed in the Memphians with his father Doyle Blackwood.
