Southern Gospel Music Guild (1986-present)

The Southern Gospel Music Guild is an organization of professional leaders in the Southern Gospel industry. The stated mission of the SGMG is, "With Jesus Christ as our cornerstone, to create a cooperative environment designed to encourage excellence, education, awareness, and growth, while preserving the essence of Southern Gospel Music."

The SGMG typically meets on a quarterly basis. At various times in the organization's history, they have sponsored awards programs to recognize achievement in various categories.
