McCray Dove

Biography

McCray Dove is a Southern Gospel singer, musicians, and songwriter. He sang lead with the Dixie Melody Boys from 1987-1997. He and his brother Eric Dove formed the Dove Brothers quartet in 1998. This group continued in various formats until 2018 adding a live band for several years. The final version of the Dove Brothers was a male trio consisting of Dove, Wesley Smith and Tony Peace.

After leaving the road to pastor a church in 2018, Dove launched McCray Dove & The Dove Brothers in 2023 with his three sons David, Matthew, and Andrew.

Dove has also written many songs over the years that have been recorded by other artists as well as his own groups.
