Levoy Dewey


Lewoy Dewy was an Associate Pastor in Amarillo, Texas and had the opportunity to record with the Statesmen Quartet in 1963. On the album "Big Chief" Wetherington sang some of his lowest continuous bass he had ever recorded. On several songs he sang Ab below Low C.


1975 Levoy Dewey And The Statesmen Quartet (LTD Productions): He'll Understand And Say Well Done; Just A Closer Walk; Closer To Thee; Lead Me To That Rock; My God Is Real; Take Down Your Harp; He Lifted Me; Child Of The King; Land Where Dreams Come True; Amazing Grace (This recording was done in 1963 with the Statesmen Quartet, but was not released until 1975).
