Stergil Jerome Bush, Senior (June 29, 1941 - May 26, 2023)

Biography

Jerome Bush founded The Anchormen Quartet which was later renamed The Tarheel State Quartet to avoid confusion with another group using the same name. He also sang with the Palmetto State Quartet, the Pilgrims, Meetin' Time, the Pine Ridge Boys, and Servants Voices. He was an educator and basketball coach in the public school system and also served as a private school principal in Statesville, North Carolina.
