Burman Porter

Biography

Burman Porter sang bass for the Dove Brothers from 1997-2004, the Blackwood Gospel Quartet from 2004-2006, and the Palmetto State Quartet from 2006-2007. Burman rejoined the Dove Brothers as bass singer in 2011. Burman left the Dove Brothers in August 2013.

In September 2013, Burman joined John Rulapaugh, Dale Shipley, and Preston Garner to form a new group called the Freedom Quartet. This group was formerly known as the Freedom Trio.
