James Roy "Pop" Lewis (September 22 1905-March 23 2004)

James Roy "Pop" Lewis was the patriarch of the Lewis Family. He married Pauline Holloway in 1925. They had eight children including one son who died at the age of four. During the 1940s, his sons began singing at the Lewis Brothers. He joined his sons and daughters on stage in 1951 to launch the Lewis Family.
